The deposit normally covers approved material procurement, engineering confirmation and production scheduling. Final QC includes photographs or video and a dimensional check; lighting also includes an illumination test in photographs or video.

Material & design confirmation

We first confirm the intended use, destination, quantity, project requirements and current material source. Natural colour, veining and pattern will differ from reference imagery. Available slab photographs or video can be reviewed before production; a physical sample can be arranged where appropriate.

For an entirely new client-led design, OYLIN first reviews the brief and confirms the scope, design-development fee and revision allowance in writing. Manufacturer shop drawings and structural details follow once the project proceeds to quotation and engineering review.

Changes, delivery & aftercare

Client-requested material, component or specification changes are reviewed before work continues. Before production, minor changes may require only the direct cost difference. If a change materially affects completed engineering, purchased material or work already in production, an additional change fee of up to 10% of the order value may apply. Revised cost and timing are issued for written approval first.

International freight, duties and destination taxes are excluded unless specifically included in the quotation. Made-to-order work cannot be returned for change of mind after production begins. Verified damage, defect or departure from the approved specification is handled through repair, replacement, replenishment or an agreed commercial remedy.

Product Introduction

Aurelia is a compact natural-stone pedestal tray conceived as a quiet architectural object. Its raised circular form creates a considered setting for pastries, fruit, small objects and decorative arrangements.

Design

A softly rounded tray rests on a tapered pedestal, balancing visual weight with a clear, composed profile. The form is designed to sit comfortably on a dining table, console, kitchen island or display surface without becoming ornamental for its own sake.

Natural Stone

Each Aurelia tray is made to order in natural stone selected for the project. The stone is part of the design: veining, colour transitions and mineral formations remain visible rather than being treated as defects or uniform surface decoration.

Material Variation Notice

Natural stone is inherently variable. Veining, colour, mineral markings and the distribution of formations will differ from piece to piece. These differences make every finished tray individual. Available stone can be reviewed by photograph or video before production is confirmed.

Customization

Custom dimensions and alternative stone selections are available upon request. Feasibility and material availability are confirmed for each inquiry before quotation and production.

Care

Wipe with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth. Clean spills promptly and avoid abrasive tools, acidic cleaners and strong alkaline products. When presenting food, use appropriate tableware or liners unless a project-specific surface treatment has been confirmed.

Finish

The finish is confirmed with the selected natural stone before quotation and production.

Lead Time

Target production is approximately 6–7 weeks after the material, dimensions, specification and deposit are approved.

Shipping & Collection

Shipping is confirmed with the quotation. OYLIN can arrange shipment to the agreed destination, or the client may nominate a carrier or arrange collection. Freight cost, route, insurance, delivery scope and timing are confirmed before production.
