A clear sequence from first brief to final delivery.

Quality should never be rushed, but it should never be vague. OYLIN separates creative approval, technical approval, production and logistics so every decision has a visible owner and milestone.

Typical sequence

Sample Box Estimated delivery in 7–10 business days by international air freight after cleared payment.
Concept board 5 business days, including one revision, after the $300 concept retainer and a complete brief.
Shop drawings 5–7 business days after concept sign-off.
Production 60–75 business days after approved shop drawings and receipt of the production deposit.
International delivery Quoted by destination, service level, crate and project terms.

Timing is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date. Holidays, stone approval, engineering revisions, certification scope, customs inspections and remote-area service can affect the sequence.

Four approval gates

  1. Brief & concept retainer. Share dimensions, application, destination, preferred stone, finish, CCT and technical requirements. The $300 retainer starts the concept board and includes one revision.
  2. Concept sign-off. Confirm the overall form, material direction and lighting intent before detailed drawings.
  3. Shop drawing approval & 30% deposit. Signed drawings lock the commissioned scope and release the work to production. Made-to-order goods become non-cancellable and non-refundable at this gate.
  4. Balance & dispatch. The remaining balance, including the selected landed-cost term, is due before dispatch. Title remains with OYLIN until full payment is received.

Landed-cost clarity

For bespoke fixtures, each pro forma invoice presents DDP and DDU options. DDP is the default unless the project specifies otherwise. Under DDP, OYLIN includes duty and VAT in the quoted landed cost; minor carrier disbursement or advance fees, if any, remain the recipient’s responsibility. Under DDU, we provide the HS code and estimated duty base for the client’s customs team.

  • A complete brief with installation country and electrical requirements.

  • Site dimensions verified before fabrication.
  • Named logistics and receiving contacts before dispatch.

How a commission moves forward

Our standard production target is approximately 8 weeks following approved specifications and the confirmed 50% production deposit. A $100 expedited-production option may target approximately 2 weeks earlier, subject to capacity confirmation.

Concept Retainer

The commission begins with the project brief and concept review.

Review & Approve

Production

Production begins after approved specifications and the confirmed production deposit.

Lead Time

Natural stone selection, fabrication, assembly, finishing and quality control are coordinated for the commission.

The remaining balance is collected after final quality control and before dispatch.
