OYLIN is an independent natural-stone lighting atelier creating made-to-order lighting, sculptural objects and furniture for architects and interior designers internationally.
Our work begins with natural stone — its colour, grain, veining, translucency and natural variation — and develops through material selection, engineering and fabrication.
Material development and production coordination are based in Zhongshan, China.

How OYLIN Works
Design intent is carried through material, engineering and production.
OYLIN coordinates the design direction and material decision, then works with manufacturing partners to confirm the production solution. The responsibility boundary is made explicit before fabrication rather than hidden behind broad claims.
Design coordination
Depending on the project stage, OYLIN can prepare BIP material files, DWG drawings, JPG 3D renderings and PDF structural drawings for coordination.
Production engineering
Final structure, fixing, electrical details and production tolerances are confirmed with the manufacturing partner before fabrication.
