ANCIENT TIMBER II records the same material family from a more graphic angle. Parallel charcoal and silver bands appear tighter and more deliberate, giving the stone a sharper architectural character than ANCIENT TIMBER. The second orientation is especially useful when a design needs continuity across repeated components or a strong vertical cadence on a lamp body. OYLIN treats the grain as part of the construction drawing: cutting direction, edge returns and the meeting of adjacent faces are considered before fabrication. Approval therefore focuses on band spacing and composition, not on obtaining an artificially uniform surface.
