OYLIN began with a damaged stone stair and a simple question: when does permanence become a burden? That scar changed our understanding of heirlooms. An object should carry memory without punishing the life around it.

THE GENTLE DIMENSION

Design is not adding weight. It is removing burden. OYLIN studies proportion, balance and subtractive engineering so natural materials retain their physical truth while remaining compatible with everyday movement. For original collections, our working discipline is approximately 15 kg or less per non-removable lighting component and 30 kg or less per furniture component. Final specifications are stated on each product.

LIVING HEIRLOOM

A living heirloom is not a fragile museum object. It is made to be touched, used, maintained, repaired and carried into another chapter of life. Our standard is built on five ideas: durable, movable, warm, quiet and repairable.

MATERIAL TRUTH

Natural variation is not a defect. Veins, pores, tonal shifts and gradual patina are records of geology and use. We disclose material composition and construction clearly; technical and legal information always takes priority over poetic language.
