The deposit normally covers approved material procurement, engineering confirmation and production scheduling. Final QC includes photographs or video and a dimensional check; lighting also includes an illumination test in photographs or video.

We first confirm the intended use, destination, quantity, project requirements and current material source. Natural colour, veining and pattern will differ from reference imagery. Available slab photographs or video can be reviewed before production; a physical sample can be arranged where appropriate.

For an entirely new client-led design, OYLIN first reviews the brief and confirms the scope, design-development fee and revision allowance in writing. Manufacturer shop drawings and structural details follow once the project proceeds to quotation and engineering review.

Client-requested material, component or specification changes are reviewed before work continues. Before production, minor changes may require only the direct cost difference. If a change materially affects completed engineering, purchased material or work already in production, an additional change fee of up to 10% of the order value may apply. Revised cost and timing are issued for written approval first.

International freight, duties and destination taxes are excluded unless specifically included in the quotation. Made-to-order work cannot be returned for change of mind after production begins. Verified damage, defect or departure from the approved specification is handled through repair, replacement, replenishment or an agreed commercial remedy.
