    Material service

    What the sample service includes.

    A tactile material study for architects, interior designers and clients considering OYLIN natural stone for a project.

    Choose any four natural stones from the OYLIN Material Library. Final selections and material availability are confirmed with you by email before preparation.

    • Four natural stone samples of your choice
    • Approx. 150 × 150 mm per sample
    • Approx. 15–18 mm thickness
    • Custom-cut protective foam insert and fitted outer shipping carton

    Material selection

    Natural stone varies from piece to piece in colour, veining, mineral structure, inclusions and surface character. The samples are intended to help review material direction before a made-to-order OYLIN commission.

    After purchase, OYLIN will confirm your four selected stones and current material availability by email. If suitable material is available, preparation may be completed sooner. If fresh sample preparation is required, the stone supplier may need approximately 10 days.

    Dispatch

    Typical dispatch is within 2 weeks after final material selection is confirmed. The expected dispatch timing is confirmed by email once the selected stones have been checked for availability.

    Protective packaging

    Each set of four stone samples is secured within a custom-cut protective foam insert and packed in a fitted outer shipping carton.

    The packaging system has been validated through repeated drop testing from approximately 1 metre to help protect the stone samples during international transit. Each order is packed using the same validated packaging configuration.

    Project credit

    The USD 149 fee is credited to your first OYLIN commission of USD 800 or more. One credit per studio.
